SAP BW and BI Business Analyst and Developer

Position Summary

Provide SAP BW/BI technical expertise during blueprint, design, configuration, testing and implementation project phases Create and maintain data objects for all BW/BI reporting structures including but not limited to ODS objects, InfoObjects, InfoCubes and InfoProviders Ensure the timely delivery of global solutions that provide critical business information.  Experience with APO and CRM interfaces a plus. 

Position Responsibilities

1.   Conducts studies pertaining to the development of new information systems to meet current and projected business needs.

2.   Writes descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems.

3.   Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems.

4.   Parti***tes in modifying procedures to solve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.

5.      Prepares functional, system, and program specifications

6.   Prepares project-phase plans and implementation schedules.

7.   Under general supervision, carries out broad and complex assignments requiring comprehensive knowledge in the field of specialization and of the organization in order to develop recommendations to change policies or procedures.

8.   May oversee the completion of projects including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, and evaluating results, etc.

9.   Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge in the field of specialization.

10. Creates valued partnership with functional business owners.

11. Must be able to be hands-on while offering strategic direction to global functional organization/s.

Position Requirements

1.Minimum of 5 years of business process experience.

2. Minimum 3 years SAP experience with preferred configuration in BW/BI, including BI objects such as Info Object, Cubes, Transformations, Update Rules, ODS, Multi Provider.
