Position: Finance Control Manager
Main Function: Financial management and controls, Taxation, Internal Controls/Auditing, Statutory/GAAP Accounting Compliance, Treasury, Insurance Risk management, Fixed Assets control, SoX implementation
Reports to: CFO – Greater China
Direct Subordinates: Employees of Finance Section
Function requirements:
Education: University degree major in Accounting or Finance
Experience: at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience in the
Multi-national Company
Skills: Good communication skills, verbal and written English
professional and experience in managing issues.
Skillful and tactful in liaison with other functions
Ability to manage MIS/IT related matters.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance to statutory and GAAP accounting standards
· Review, update, and implement internal control procedures of finance and related functions within SL China group, including that of Greater China as appropriate.
· Liaison with corporate Internal Control Project team and/or external cousultant to ensure business processes and financial controls in accordance to Sarbane-Oxley requirements.
· Liason with tax , SAFE and other regulatory authorities, and ensure business transactions comply in all aspects with local taxation and statutory regulations
· Annual US Tax Kits reporting
· Manage SL China working capital.
· SoX implementation in SL China.
· Treasury and cash flow management, including liaison with bankers for funding needs and banking relationship. Managing internal cash flow planning and treasury report
· Manage and coordinate with plant sites on consolidation of statutory accounts. Liaison with external Audit for local statutory accounts.
· A&P controls and mangement & reporting of SL China management costs
· Review intercompany accounts and ensure promt follow up and clearance of any outstanding issues on timely basis.
· Check all the payments vouchers before going to pay
· Ensure Cashier function is performed in line with internal procedures
· Insurance and risk management
· Ensure proper maintenance and filing of all statutory finance/accounting, and statutory documents, including contracts with thirs parties.
· Management of fixed assets and capital spending, including preparation of CER
· Coordinate and manage MIS/IT related matters
· Other duties as per instruction of CFO.
