To find SAP explanation for MI34, use MI34, click on the blue icon 'i' (program documentation) or shift+F1 or F1 or menu: help -> application help
another simliar transaction is MI39
For example, you can upload an ASCII file with inventory counts into SAP using either MI34 or MI39. It will save time if you have all counts in an excel already. If not, putting together the counts list can take more time than doing manually using MI04.
Your file can be stored in your desk top, and given a Z logical definition using transaction FILE.
