在WMS系统里，所有物料移动都是在WM的Bin层别进行。如果你启用的只是Lean WM的话，所有物料移动都还只是在IM的Storage Location层别进行，系统不会在WM层别进行“Quant”的更新。
如果你想对一个仓库进行TO拣货管理，又不想进行复杂的WM管理，这时候建议你启用Lean WM。

在Lean WM中使用TO有如下优点：
1。You can reprint transfer orders at any time.
2。You can split transfer orders and thus distribute the workload better among the
staff in your warehouse.
3。You can pass on the transfer order target data and the names of those who process
transfer orders to the HR application component, where this data can be used to
calculate incentive wage.
因为Lean WM不更新WM库存，所以库存查询还是在IM Stoarge Location层别，盘点也必须通过IM
来进行。这些是和标准WM的根本区别。

实施Lean WM需要至少配置：
1。Assign a (newly defined) storage location to a warehouse number.
2。Set up at least two storage types:
A picking storage type as the source storage type
A shipping area as the destination storage type for deliveries

这才只是Lean WM呢，学习完Whole WM你就会觉得Lean WM其实太简单了。

系统中001仓库提供了一个标准构架，一般都是通过拷贝它的数据加以修改，变成用户特定需求的，没有什么不可以！

PS. lean WM在繁体中文系统中翻译成“简便WM”从意思上我感觉比较贴切一些
