I am very impressed with one of the tips of learniing SAP posted here:

Do not ask lightly before chewing the cud(thinking them over).

But I understand why self-learners have to resort to outside help.

Hopefully my question sounds not too simple:

One of the objectives of Equipment data is: to record runtime.

I wonder how and I do not think it is done by setting up a counter.

Breakdown time is record and I wonder in case a machine is running on and off. Does the ssytem calculate MTTR/MTBT by regarding the non-breakdown all as running hours?

Please share with me your idea.
