Roger，
你好，目前工作上要接触到RFID的sap的配置，不知道Roger是否可以对
rfid在sap系统的应用以及一个基本的配置方法做个介绍呢？
另外，还希望Roger可以共享以下SRF010标准文档，我找了很多地方都找不到。 :(

make sure your project is RF or RFID? and what's the main products are you producing or to be using Bar code or Electronic tag? and what's your project target or brief process? i could provide some existing document for your reference.

Background:
We are a telecommunication equipment provider, our customer is one of the largest Carrier provider around the world.
In order to provide the 1st class service to this tied-1 customer, we are planning to adopt our customer's warehouse
management strategy to increase their inbound efficiency.
Customer is using the RF solution to help to manage their warehouse. we are planning to implement the RF solution
to our sap system to manage our equipments which will sale to this tied-1 customer.
Question:
Actually, I didn't touch RF before, so I am not clear with it. I read limited RF basic desciption on SAP's website.
but I want to know:
1. How to configure the RF solution to fulfill the requirement above?
2. Could you share a best-practise RF solution?
3. Related to the Bar code or Electronic tag, could you give a desciption about their difference?
Base on customer's req. they want to get more information about the equipment(weight, volume, version, dates, when, where, etc) just through one simple scan. which one we can use, bar code/electronice tag?
Thank you very much for your help!
BTW.

First of all, you need understand differences between RF and RFID. They are completly differenct things. Please refer to below linkage to understand Barcode, RF and RFID.

RF environment: RF server, RF Wireless Access Point, RF terminal, SAP server.
RF configure: RF server setup (SAPConsole, or non-SAP middleware), RF AP setup (non-SAP), RF terminal setup (non-SAP), SAP WM-RF config (SAP IMG: LE-Mobile Data Entry).
RFID environment:RFID reader, RFID lable 'Printer'/decoder, AII (RFID interface application to SAP), SAP netweaver.
I didn't have chance to implement RFID project yet.

现在重新回来看《Barcode, RF, RFID 条形码，射频技术和射频标签》这个帖子又有了新的认识。
可以想像，RF terminal就像一个带扫描枪的PDA（去年我参与一个RF的项目用了"卡西欧"的终端机，内置WINDOWS SE操作系统）；
RFID reader则是一个单纯的扫描仪或感应器。
不知我说的对否？

关于RFID的应用，我觉得他除了感应器，其实还是可以做很多数据分析的东西。 例如现在的大超市就是利用RFID来做顾客的习惯分析。举个例子，在每一个手推车上都有一个感应标签，通过在不同的点里面设置AP（access point），通过AP把RFID的数据记录下来，通过一种网状的分析，就是研究出顾客喜欢走的路线，在那个点停留的时间比较长。 结合那个点所摆放的东西的类别从而可以调整超市的货架摆放策略。

Rick的案例主要针对大卖场，是一个不错的应用。对于一般的大型仓库或物流中心，RFID主要还是自动数据识别。RFID感应器可以是PDA类似的，也可以是类似登机门的通过式感应装置。
其实RFID和RF从应用的优势来讲，RFID可以一定范围内通过非接触性或者自动感应获取数据（RF需要光学扫描头在一定角度和一定距离内触发扫描），RFID标签一般数据信息量也可以比Barcode标签包含的多。当然对于RFID设备较高的成本和技术的不太成熟也是一个问题。
